Among Mitsubishi International GmbH's business groups the Food, Textile
and General Merchandise Division is involved in the widest product spectrum.
One of the areas of expertise cover the Japanese brewing industry which
is supplied with German, Czech and Slovenian hops and malt. The division
is now also planning to trade these products on the high-potential markets
of China and Vietnam.
Responding to industrial needs, plastic optical fibers for data transmission
and illumination can be supplied just-in-time from the division's local
stock point.
The division, for example, also sells prefabricated houses manufactured
by a Swedish joint-venture company TOMOKU HUS AB to Japanese homebuilders.
Its other operations include distribution of pulp, thermal, carbonless and
inkjet paper on a worldwide basis. For the inkjet paper business the division
seeks for good competitive products, offering special services to their
customer by dealing from its stock point in Germany - from where not only
jumbo rolls, but customized packed plotter rolls and sheets as well are
sent to individual customers throughout the world.
These and other strengths, including the diverse capabilities of its staff,
enable FTG Division to offer numerous services to meet the specific needs
of their customers.
